A Praying Ministry Caring For A Growing Community

The Road to Salvation

1. Admit that you are a sinner.

Romans 3:23  "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God."
We all have sin in our hearts.  We were born with sin, and are controlled by sin's power.

2. Understand that you deserve death for your sin.

Romans 6:23a  "...The wages of sin is death..."
Sin has an ending.  It results in death.
We all face physical death, which is a result of sin.
However, a worse death is spiritual death because it alienates sinners from God, and separates them from God for all eternity.

3.  God loves us.  He wants to give us eternal life with Him.

Romans 5:8,  "God demonstrates His own love for us, in
that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us!"
Jesus died on the cross to pay sin's penalty.  He paid the price for all of the sins of the world by dying on the cross.  He did this because He loved us.
The only condition is that we believe in Him and what He has done for us.

Romans 6:23b  "...But the gift of God is eternal
life through Jesus Christ our Lord."
Salvation is a free gift from God to you!
You can't earn this gift, but you must reach out and receive it.

4. Ask God to forgive you and save you.

Romans 10:9,10  "...If you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be saved.”

Pray this prayer:
Dear God,  I confess that I am a sinner and have come short of Your glory.  I am truly sorry for the sins that I have committed.  I believe that You love me and that Jesus died on the cross for my sins.  I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord, and I believe in my heart that You have raised Him from the dead.  I now receive Your wonderful gift of salvation, eternal life through Jesus Christ my Lord.  Thank you for saving my soul, in Jesus' name, Amen.
God has now forgiven you, just like He promised!  You are a child of God.
